We are a funny bunch us humans. Capable of immense love affection and kindness. Intelligent beyond the dreams of so much life around us, and with an innate ability to create a perfect world. Yet we still have global warming, we still destroy when we might build, and we alone on this planet cognitively chose to pursue courses of action whereby the very territory we need for survival is effectively destroyed. Never has there been a more paradoxical animal on this planet, and hence this work THE PARADOX OF MAN.
“Man is the only creature who refuses to be what he is.”
― Albert Camus
A very wise man Albert Camus, and words that should act to a warning to us all
In this book our paradoxical nature is examined from the cradle to the grave. It is not aimed at academicians or university professors, although I hope they enjoy what they see. This is a book for anyone who is curious about humanity, who has the strength to look at who we really are with an open mind, and who is prepared to take on conventional wisdom and conventional morality and stereotyping that surrounds us on all sides
So now it is time to get going. please see the chapter index below
