New Facebook group..Mental illness…together we can be strong

peaceMental illness..Togther we can be strong

Regular visitors to this blog will be aware of the time being spent developing a mental illness and depression support group. For some while now myself and Jennifer Michelle have been discussing the idea of setting up a companion Facebook page for this group in order to give support to more sufferers and/or their carers or caregivers.

I am delighted to say that this has now been done, and the new group is called Mental illness…together we can be strong. Currently it is a closed group so as to protect and sensitive information of feelings that members might wish to post, but the the group setting is something which, if members so desire, can be changed over time.  In esscence, the ball is in your court, so please let us know your views

Just like this blog, it is a non-profit Facebook group, and it is our intention that over time we might connect with other Mental Illness or Depression Facebook groups  raise awareness of the area concerned, and try and build a strong and vibrant interlinked community.

This is early days though. We recognise we still have much to learn and a long way to go, so please be a little patient with us, or come up with ideas for improvement if you wish, but we hope you will visit and join us in this extension, and pass the word on to others of the work we are trying to do.

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the video below, and for those wishing to recieve more information please feel free to use the contact form below
