More Than Skin Deep…. a blog supporting those suffering from depresssion

first stepThere are many Depression support groups around, both on-line, and in the living environment, and within the Dealing with the blues Project, I will occasionally be highlighting groups which I believe deserve both praise and a mention.

This might sound an odd thing to do, bearing in mind that I seem to be directing you away from this blog and project, but

  • I never intended this to be a stand-alone project
  • the more feeds to other support groups the more the support level within this project

So here goes with the first of many support groups that might be of interest

More than skin Deep

The title link provided will take you to their Home page, but in essence the values they stand for are as follows

Mission: to bring encouragement to those struggling with addictions in SI, Depression, and Anxiety; bring awareness to family, friends and loved ones of those struggling with these addictions; and offer help to those willing to take the journey to personal freedom.

Vision: to be an anchor of HOPE to people who struggle with addictions and a lighthouse to those around them who are supporting those who are struggling with addictions.

Values We Seek To Encourage:

·Loving & Accepting Who We Are As Individuals

·Grace For Ourselves & Others

·Strength to Overcome Addictions

·Individual Beauty & Uniqueness

Please click here for further details, but any group with these aims and values, collated directly from their blog, gets my vote, so why not drop into the blog and drop them a line

One last thing. I hope you enjoy the video below; sweet dreams. bye for now
