Higway to smell..bad luck or divine intervention

I know it’s wrong to gloat at other people’s bad luck or misfortunes, and I know that, whatever an individual has or has not done in his or her life, somethings are undeniably unfair or contrary, but a news item popped into the newspapers recently that more than just brought out a smile

It also left me thinking though, on natural just justice, and how materialistic we, in the western hemisphere, have undoubtedly become.

The story itself was very simple, and what it lacked in fragrance and floral beauty, it made up for it by a certain linguistic charm.

Puzzled by such  a  curious set of references, well have you ever heard the one about exploding muck spreaders, Mercedes convertibles, designer clothing, and recently coiffured ladies? No, well read on and all will be revealed. The report read as follows

A driver was left soaked in liquid manure when a muck spreader burst and flooded her open-topped sports car. The woman (age reference removed) was wearing designer clothes and had just had her hair done when her car was deluged Some 25 firefighters cleaned up the mess (location reference removed) caused up by a build up of methane in the spreaders tank A police spokesman said “Litres of it flooded out as she stepped out of the car. The trail of filth stretched almost a kilometre. The lady concerned was very unhappy”

Was she really just “very unhappy”, with such an understatement the accident should have happened in England, but I cannot help but admire the restraint that all parties, including the newspaper reporter seems to have shown

I can just imagine the moment when the burst happened, the look of shock and horror as the voluminous tide swept into the car, and then the barely controlled mirth of all the onlookers, as she stepped out of the copiously overflowing car.

I hope, oh how I hope that some fool said to her

“Are you ok”

“Can we help you ”

or even better

” Would you like a tissue”

Answers, I am sure, would have come aplenty. but, in recognition of public decency, none of then could be repeated here Yet, as I have intimated in the title, I’m not to sure whether this falls under bad luck or divine justice.

I just hope that, in whatever vehicle was offered to her, she enjoyed the rest of her ride! What if we were to try and sum up this in a song though, well I think the two video’s that follow might possibly fit the bill.

All I can say is; enjoy!

In advance though, my apologies to the lady concerned. Whoever you may be, and wherever you may be living, you deserve all our sympathies, for I’m sure your car, clothes,  hairdo, and memories of driving will never be the same
