SIT DOWN…GO TO YOUR ROOM…WASH YOUR HANDS…BEHAVE
Follow our example, we hear as children, and always say please and thank you, so why do we ignore such good advice when we speak to each other, or even worse when we speak to our children?
When do we say sit down PLEASE… go your room PLEASE and…wash your hands PLEASE…let alone PLEASE BEHAVE?
This is just one example out of thousands that lie all around us. Why do we do it, I wonder, and why are we annoyed or surprised when our children fail to respond or behave ? As children we certainly didn’t do so, so why should we expect our children to behave differently today?
Please post any thoughts you have on this topic, and why not let other blog visitors know what other examples bug you. Keep it clean and decent though, and no names and no pack drill. There are so many examples folks so this should be fun.
